- Photos of the room or installation site, as well as other surrounding areas such
as adjacent walls, other artwork, furniture, etc.
- What attracted you to my work? Are there
any other pieces you like? Is there anything in those pieces that you'd like to see in yours?
- By when do you need the commission completed?
Pricing
Pricing ranges from $15 to to $75 per square foot for quilts made with
commercially-dyed fabrics. For exquisite art quilts made with my own custom fabrics hand-dyed with organic natural dyes, the
pricing ranges from $65 to $140 per square foot.
Once a contract is signed, a 50% deposit is due.
The balance is due and payable upon delivery of the finished work.
Timeline
Commissions generally take from 6 weeks to 6 months, depending on the complexity
of the piece and on previously scheduled work.
